Volunteer Info: Description of the roles for the volunteers: Attorneys & BIA Reps are needed to assist with the pre-screening. The Attorney�s & BIA reps will be checking throughout to see if the applicant qualifies for citizenship. The Attorneys and BIA will also review of citizenship applications for accuracy and to spot any red flags missed during pre-screening. Can commit to the entirety of the event from 9 am to 3 pm or for pre-screening only from 9 am until about 12 noon or just for check-out (where applications are reviewed) from 11 am until about 4 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help qualified Legal Permanent Residents complete their citizenship applications. Training will be provided prior to the workshop on the morning of the event at the location. Other volunteer opportunities will be to help direct traffic to the appropriate location, line coordinators, registration, and the close- out table.
